Examination

How students at ISSA are assessed, and who conducts the examinations for each program.

Who conducts the examinations

Final examinations and degrees are the responsibility of each program's affiliating body:

ProgramExamining body
Pharm-DUniversity of the Punjab
DPT, BS Emergency & Intensive CareUniversity of Health Sciences, Lahore
Dispensing Technology, Medical Lab TechnologyPunjab Medical Faculty

Results are announced by the examining body. In the Pharm-D first-semester results, ISSA students placed 1st, 4th and 7th among the University of the Punjab's affiliated colleges.

Assessment during the semester

Alongside the formal examinations, students are assessed through class tests, assignments, laboratory practicals and practical records, in line with the rules of the affiliating body. Eligibility to sit examinations — including attendance requirements — is set by the affiliating body, so regular attendance at lectures and practicals matters from the first week.

Examination conduct

Students are expected to follow the examining body's instructions, carry their admission (roll number) slips and identity documents, and observe academic integrity at all times. Any form of cheating or impersonation is treated as serious misconduct.
