Policies
These summaries describe the main expectations at ISSA. Full policy documents are available from the administration office; where an affiliating university or examining body sets a rule, its rule applies.
Academic integrity
Students submit their own work and follow the examining body's instructions in every assessment. Copying, plagiarism, impersonation and the use of unfair means are serious misconduct.
Attendance
Regular attendance at lectures and practicals is required. Eligibility to sit examinations depends on meeting the attendance requirement set by the affiliating university or examining body.
Conduct and dress
Students are expected to be punctual, respectful and professional. A white coat and the student ID card are worn in laboratories and practical sessions.
Harassment and discrimination
Harassment of any kind is not tolerated. Complaints are handled confidentially by the administration, in line with Pakistan's law on protection against harassment.
Fees and refunds
The fee structure for each program is given to every applicant before admission. Refund requests are handled according to the institute's fee rules for the session; ask the admissions office for the current terms.
Privacy
How the institute's website handles personal information is explained in the privacy policy.
